		Priorities in research Treatment		TREATMENT The focused integration of basic and clinical neuroscience research and the promotion of translational research will take key research findings from the laboratory bench to hospital bedside. With a strong focus on the development, function and dysfunction of neuronal and cellular circuits the NNB aims at understanding the basis of devastating neurological diseases and mental health disorders. The NNB will follow a focused strategy from the bench, to the desk, to healthy populations, to the bedside and has therefore defined priority research and treatment areas.
