If you wish to obtain a Bachelor or a Master degree in Natural Sciences students must enroll at either of the three faculties: Faculty of Natural Science, Faculty of Psychology or Faculty of Medicine. Information on the Bachelor and Masters studies at the Biozentrum in Basel leading to the graduate Ph.D. program in Neurobiology
Bachelor Studies
Degree: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Biology with a major in either
I)Molecular Biology
II) Animal and Plant Sciences
III) Integrative Biology
Duration: 3 years
Language: German
Required credit points: 180
Fees: CHF 1’400.-p.a. (plus CHF 100- one-time inscription fee)

Master Studies
Degree: Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Molecular Biology
Admission: B.Sc. with a major in Molecular Biology.
For students with other majors, please contact the Studiensekretariat (see below).
Duration: 1 year Language: mostly English
Required credit points: 90 (master thesis equals 50 credit points)
Fees: CHF 1’400.-p.a. (plus CHF 100 - one-time inscription fee)
The M.Sc. can be obtained with different majors, i.e. Neurobiology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, etc.
